Day 1: Flight

Meals: Dinner and breakfast.

Day 2: Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe

You will be met at the airport by a representative and guided to your transfer vehicle which will arrive at Shongwe Lookout Guest Lodge. This award-winning lodge offers 23 beautifully furnished rooms set in the suburbs of Zimbabwe’s most famous wildlife town, Victoria Falls.
The rooms surround their unique 2 platform Lookout Tower, which offers stunning views of the Zambezi River, and the mist rising above the world-famous Victoria Falls, for which their lodge takes its Shona name.

Enjoy an early morning coffee as you watch the sunrise from the treetops, rest and relax in the comfort of their new rooms, or dine-in and take a dip in their infinity pool after a day of exploring all that Victoria Falls has to offer.

Day 3:  Victoria Falls Tour & Sunset Cruise Royal (Zambezi River), Zimbabwe 

After breakfast, you will embark on a morning tour of the magnificent Victoria Falls stopping at various vantage points to view the spectacular falls and walk through the rain forest. 
Seeing rainbows, feeling the spray and hearing the thundering noise of water crashing down into the 108 metre gorge serves as a testimony to the awesome power of the mighty river. 

After your Victoria Falls Tour you will head to lunch at one of Victoria Falls most iconic restaurant’s The Lookout Café where you can watch people white water rafting along the waterfall rapids below you and people zip lining past you while you enjoy lunch.
Includes: Main course and dessert.

After lunch you will return to your hotel, for free time. At 15:30hrs you will be met by a representative for a short journey to the dock to board the Sunset Cruise Royal. You will cruise on the upper stretches of the Zambezi River where David Livingstone canoed on his quest to discover the falls over 150 years ago. During the cruise you will enjoy viewing the abundant wildlife and an incredible variety of birds. The Zambezi Sunset will mesmerise and leave you breathless.  

Return Jetty transfers included.

Day 4: Victoria Falls Zimbabwe - Helicopter & Safari.

After breakfast, your driver will meet you at the hotel for a short journey to the helicopter pad for a spectacular Helicopter flight over the Victoria Falls (12 - 13 Mins).

Experience a bird's eye view of the magnificent Victoria Falls, Zambezi River and Batoka Gorge on this epic Victoria Falls Helicopter Flight. The "Flight of Angels" is the most popular helicopter flight in Victoria Falls. You will arrive at the helicopter pad that has a magnificent natural backdrop of the Victoria Falls in the distance.  One of the friendly staff will give you a short but informative safety briefing and point out your helicopter flight path on a wonderfully illustrated map.

This afternoon you experience your first of five exciting game drive during this trip in Zambezi National Park, Victoria Falls where you can view an abundance of wildlife ranging from elephants, giraffes and zebra, to lions, hippos, crocodiles and much more.. 
After the game drive you will return to your hotel.

Day 5:  Zambezi National Park, Victoria Falls - Game Drives

Today you enjoy guided morning and afternoon game drives in The Zambezi National Park, Zimbabwe. A lesser-known gem situated on the doorstep of the world-famous Victoria Falls boasting a diverse array of extraordinary wildlife. Located upstream from Victoria Falls on the Zambezi River, it was split off from Victoria Falls National Park in 1979 and is 56,000 hectares in size. 

This park is home to four of the Big Five. There are regular sightings of elephant and buffalo, and some sightings of lion and leopard. Other animals include giraffe and zebra, as well as a variety of antelope like impala, sable and waterbuck. The Zambezi River is teeming with hippos and crocodiles, as well as over 75 different species of fish, including the famous tiger fish – a big drawcard for avid fishing enthusiasts. 

The park is also a birder’s paradise. It is home to over 400 species including specialty birds. For example, the Pel’s fishing owl, African skimmer, collared palm thrush, lanner falcon, goliath heron, African finfoot, rock pratincole and long-toed lapwing.

Day 6:  Victoria Falls Zambia - Devil`s Pool High Tea Experience.

After breakfast, morning at leisure. At lunch time (13:00hrs) you meet your driver/guide for a short car journey from Lodge to Zambia Dry Manzi Jetty. Remember to take your passport, covid vaccination proof and wet shoes (snorkelling shoes). (Border Formalities) 
After clearing border formalities enjoy a short boat ride to the Island followed by Island Protocol.

Devils Swim Instructors are at hand to coordinate the edge swimming. A great moment for photos, the instructors will take photos and videos for you. Swimming is followed by a delicious Mini High Tea buffet. After High Tea you will return to the lodge.

Day 7:  Zambezi National Park, Victoria Falls

Morning at leisure to explore the local area or relax in the infinity pool. Afternoon guided game drive in The Zambezi National Park consists of 40km of the Zambezi River frontage and a spread of wildlife, rich inland mopane forest and savanna. Zambezi National Park is conjoined with Victoria Falls National Park and both parks cover an area of 56 000 hectares.

Day 8:  Zambezi National Park, Victoria Falls

This morning you experience an early morning guided game drive, animals are at their most active at this time and a good opportunity to spot some of the more rarer wildlife. 

Includes: Park fees, guided game drive (3hrs) and bottled water

After the game drive you head back to the lodge for lunch (at your own expense). Then you head to the stunning Victoria Falls hotel, where we have arranged a treat for you. An Ultimate Body Massage which includes a fully body massage including an Indian head massage (1hr 5mins). After your relaxing massage why not enjoy a glass of wine or cocktail at their famous bar which overlooks a waterhole which animals gather to drink water (optional).  Transfer back to your lodge.

Day 9:  Victoria Falls Departure

Enjoy a hearty breakfast before checking out and heading to the Victoria Falls Airport.  An end to a memorable journey.
